1930s metro motor car

A 1930s metro motor car as restored for a museum display: a long steel body painted pale yellow over ochre with a brown waist band, four pairs of sliding doors a side, a raised roof lantern lined with ten air scoops a side, and a rounded cab front with two round headlights, two red lamps and a centre door. It rides on two black bogies with coil springs and red-brown collector beams, with an automatic coupler and looped air hoses at each end. Through the lightly tinted windows the interior is modelled too: 44 leather bench seats between wooden end screens, nickel poles and rails, tulip lamps under a cream ceiling, and the driver's cab with its controller, brake valve and gauges behind a partition.
